The German legend’s 1998 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG has just been listed by a dealer in Berlin, Germany who is optimistic about its $133,000 (AED 488,500) price tag. Although the car has racked up 198,000 kilometers on the clock, the dealer is hoping the Formula One driver’s name will allow it to sell the wagon for more than ten times the market value of a Nineties AMG.

The vehicle itself, benefits from a full AMG upgrade, meaning a stiffer suspension set-up, a 5.5-liter V8 engine producing 355 horsepower, and iconic Monoblock wheels. On the tech front, there’s a voice-guided navigation system, an old-school car phone, and memory seats. Although, we’re pretty skeptical about the benefits of a pre-1998 Navigation system in today’s world.

What it all boils down to, is that if the car really did belong to the Formula One legend, then it is undoubtedly a great deal. Keeping in mind his 1986 Mercedes-Benz SL AMG that sold for over AED 1,212,000, of course. If you’ve got the money, it definitely seems like a great investment for a loyal Schumi fan. For the rest of us, we’ll have to make-do with our branded caps and other paraphernalia…
