Mitsubishi Motors, in association with Qatar Automobiles Company, launched the all-new Mitsubishi Montero Sport at the Qatar Motor Show. It has been a long time since customers felt Mitsubishi’s presence at motor shows in the GCC. So, we are pleased to see the brand showcasing something new at QMS which gives us the insight into what the maker has planned for the future of the company and its loyal fan base, which in the GCC, is quite significant. This is what they had to say about the Montero Sport.

With dynamic cruising off-roader set in the eyes of Mitsubishi designer team, the all new Mitsubishi Montero is meant to be a new vehicle launched by the Japanese manufacturer as an off-roading machine. The new Montero Sport integrates elements of both sophistication and style from one side and an advanced version of Mitsubishi driving performance. These two elements in this car at such higher dimension, Mitsubishi Motors have created an entirely new off-road SUV.

With a design revolving around “stylish and comfortable Off-roader SUV, the Montero Sport takes much of its bigger brother, the Pajero”. A very attractive and memorable headlight design that allows for even daylight design characterizes the Montero Sport 2016. The lines on the side designs make it a sleek and sharp looking car with its longer dimensions with a 2.8mm wheelbase.

Improved head to toe, the all-new Montero Sport offers better stability, ride and quietness through a more advanced suspension system as well as improvements to handling and power to weight ratio with its increased 181Bhp coming from a 2.4-litre MIVEC turbo diesel engine that still offers high fuel efficiency rates. The comfort of the car is enhanced through a revised sound insulation system which helps isolating the car from the road and offering a comfy ride.

Special thanks to Moe Shehada for the coverage.
