New Lexus LS launching in 2016

Lexus is the latest to realize that its flagship LS needs to be replaced with a new model. As per the report by Motor-Trend, the new model should arrive in 2016. Few rumors have come to air and are as follows:
- Instead of competing with the likes of S-Class and 7-Series, the new LS will be sporty and be a direct competitor to the Porsche Panamera.
- The base engine will be bumped to 5.0 V8 from 4.6 V8. Also, there will be a F sport version which will produce 600 BHP via turbochargers.
- Hybrid version will also be developed.
Expect a concept version soon.
