It has been a long time coming but Aston has finally done it. They have finally released a new V12 that is speculated to compete against the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini This new engine is down from 5900cc to 5200cc but is expected to deliver more power thanks to the twin turbos attached. Also, unlike the previous naturally aspirated V12, this new engine will be fuel efficient as well because of the power available at lower RPM due to turbos. The current V12 delivers around 570 BHP so we can expect this new engine to deliver more than 600 BHP easily. This engine is built in house and not taken from AMG like the 4.0 liter V8. The first car to be equipped with this V12 will be the all-new DB11 - the replacement of the DB9.
