Nissan UAE launched a special Patrol for the Middle East called the Desert Edition. This is created in collaboration with Dr. Mohammed Bin Sulayem for the GCC. Highlights include:
- Desert Edition and MBS badges
- Based on Patrol LE
- 5.6 L V8 engine producing 400 BHP and 560 Nm of torque
- 7 speed automatic gearbox
- Specially tuned suspension
- New skid plates
- On-board tyre inflator
- Bead-lock wheels to run at low pressure

- Sand ramps and rope
Priced at $69,430 in the UAE.
