Nissan introduces first manufacturer backed Certified Pre Owned program in the Middle East region

Middle Eastern markets are among the finest in the world where second-hand or pre-owned cars have contrived a fad for themselves which has led to the birth of several places such as the Al Quoz pre-owned cars area where a gargantuan variety of cars are traded on diurnal basis. People have embraced these cars without being precarious about their reliability, resale value and after-sales service ever since the dealers started providing them with these benefits including quality assurance and warranty et al. Seeing the potential in trading used cars, several automakers have come up with their own used car outlets providing cars which haven’t explored every nook of the corner yet at lower prices and other benefits as corollary.

In the Middle-east region, Nissan introduced the first manufacturer-backed certified pre-owned program where its current and relatively older range can be found resting for you to sample it. It concomitants buyers by providing safety of their transaction, value for money cars and peace of mind assurance which is corollary to the car.

As part of the Nissan Intelligent Choice (NIC), the program aims to provide impeccably built cars which ensure cost-effectiveness. To make sure a larger audience gets to reap the benefits of the program, this facility extends to regions of UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon. Supporting the idea of expanding this initiative to multiple regions, is the fact that Nissan has already sold 5,000 certified pre-owned cars across all regions till date. This milestone was achieved by measures such as transparency in disclosing details of the car, providing sales and after-sales service to its clients to ensure the cars keep prodding suavely and ensuring nobody is overcharged for the car they choose.

Delving deeper into the distinctive features of these dealerships, the company will provide a guaranteed 2-year/60,000 Km warranty. Every car reaching them will have to make it through a 167-point checklist swathing inspection and reconditioning process to make sure valid contracts are signed. It will also cover cosmetic and mechanical aspects of every vehicle to assess if the body shape has been tampered with or if there are any faults with the engine and related components shelved in the engine bay. Its requirements also mandate that the car shouldn’t have been driven in excess of 150,000 Km, should be less than 5-years of age, should’ve a clean service history without being spurious and documents should be provided to justify its authenticity.

Adib Takieddine, Sales Director, Nissan Middle East said: “Catering to the shift in customer demands for improved quality, safety, and value for money, we are proud to introduce the first manufacturer-backed warranty on CPO vehicles in the region. Paving the way to set high standards in the pre-owned car market in the region, Nissan Intelligent Choice is yet another initiative by Nissan that demonstrates our commitment to giving our customers absolute clarity and confidence when buying or owning a Nissan vehicle. At Nissan, customer satisfaction is an integral part of everything we do, and our robust Nissan Intelligent Choice of CPO fleet reflects that.”

Customers can either visit the dealership or meet online for convergence with the sales team to guide them efficiently with the complete process of purchasing a certified pre-owned Nissan. Nissan wishes to enable more customers to enjoy driving in their cars through such a full-blown facility available in several regions.
