Nissan Leaf gets 'self cleaning' paint

Nissan LEAF is synonymous with the environment lovers as it produces zero emissions. But there is a significant improvement done. Now, Nissan has added a new dash of paint called Ultra-Ever Dry. This paint has a specialty i.e. it cleans itself. Intriguing? Yes. The new paint finish basically repels both water and oils so no matter what gets spilled on the car, there won’t be any stains left behind.

So, now, the planet-hugging car is also a ‘clean’ car. Nissan has marketed this paint by letting LEAF owners know that now, in addition to not visiting fuel stations; they can also save money and the environment by not visiting car wash stations as well. This has the potential to be a huge money saver for the customers and a USP for Nissan for the future.

Nissan has no immediate plans to offer this paint as a standard option, however, this technology can result in good monetary value. Check out the demo below.
