Nissan looks to rule the family SUV segment with this - the all-new Pathfinder

Posted by Tejas Kokcha on Mar 9, 2022

At first glance this new Nissan Pathfinder will look to you just like any other family SUV. The recipe suggests so - three rows, lots of space and big dimensions. However, unlike the previous generations, the Pathfinder is a different product from Nissan because with this the Japanese manufacturer wants to cement its reputation as a leading SUV brand. So the Pathfinder isn’t just a replacement for a minivan.

The biggest thing is that Nissan has launched the Pathfinder in the UAE. The Pathfinder has sleek C-shaped LED lights, a signature V-Motion grille, and the all-new Nissan logo. Under the hood the Pathfinder has a V6 engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Nissan says that the Pathfinder is not just a family SUv but it also has some serious off-road credentials.

The Pathfinder is loaded with cool tech like 360 camera tech and rear view camera. Basic connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also there along with an Intelligent Cruise Control and a Remote Engine Start.

What’s more, the Pathfinder is an eight seater with the option of seven seats also available. In the seven seat version customers can get premium second row captain seating. To ensure convenience for all the passengers, Nissan has given the Pathfinder 16 beverage holders, 5 USB ports, a new storage shelf and climate control for the second row with roof vents. That is very impressive.

Inside you will also find a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, loads of space for you to keep your stuff like laptop, tablet, phone, Bose’s 12-speaker audio system and you can also get an optional 10.8-inch Head-up Display in the SL grade. The Pathfinder has all the safety features on offer as well with systems like Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot intervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure intervention, High Beam Assist, and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning.

Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East, said: “The Pathfinder is an iconic SUV in the Middle East, one that has provided customers with luxury and the freedom to explore for several decades. Thirty-five years after the global launch of the original model, the arrival of the fifth-generation Pathfinder to this region is a strong testament to our dedication to serve customers by offering products that cater to their unique and adventurous lifestyles.”

“Catering to a larger and more connected audience, the Pathfinder is set to build on our sales success and strengthen our SUV leadership across the region,” he concluded.

The all-new Pathfinder is now available at all the leading Nissan dealerships like Al Masaood Automobiles in Abu Dhabi, YK AlMoayyed & Sons in Bahrain, Arabian Automobiles Co. in Dubai, Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al Babtain in Kuwait, uhail Bahwan Automobiles in Oman and Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Co. in Qatar.
