Nissan Patrol Super Safari gets refreshed face and loads of tech

The Nissan Patrol Super Safari has been one of the most loved SUVs in the Middle East because of its bold persona and superb off-road capability. Now, Nissan has perfected the old-school SUV even further by giving it a refreshed face and some new tech.

The 2022 Patrol Super Safari will have new aesthetics which include grey or gold accents across the roof, bumpers, wheel arches, and spare tyre cover,  ‘Super Safari’ decals alongside the car, and choice of three new exterior colours - black, white, and gold. The SUV will sit on 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

All the lovely tech is inside the Patrol Super Safari. The interior sports the latest tech like smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger and a 2 DIN display audio system. Customers can get the seats with PVC, woven fabric, or tan leather.

Mechanically things remain pretty simple as the Patrol Super Safari has a 4.8-liter in-line six-cylinder engine under the bonnet which produces 280 horsepower and 451 Nm of torque.

Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East said: “The region’s sustained love and demand for the Patrol Super Safari is reflective of the deep-rooted heritage of this all-terrain vehicle with the people of the Middle East and its compatibility with the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula. The 2022 model retains the Super Safari’s off-road prowess, offering customers in the Middle East value and convenience through the integration of innovative design and technological elements.”
