OMODA and JAECOO were introduced as independent brands at the 20th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, also known as "Auto Shanghai 2023", on April 18. This event garnered widespread attention from global media outlets. OMODA showcased their first fully electric model, the OMODA 5 e-QUA, which made its global debut, while JAECOO unveiled two new models, the JAECOO 7 and JAECOO 9, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the brand.

The Auto Shanghai 2023 was the first international A-class auto exhibition held after the pandemic, and it drew the active involvement of over 1,000 companies globally. This event showcased various new brands, technologies, and products in response to the latest industry situation and changing consumer trends. The launch of OMODA and JAECOO as two new brands is an excellent demonstration of their objective to attract youthful-minded users and bring new energy to the automobile market.

OMODA has developed the OMODA 5, a car that targets the younger generation who seek a fashionable and trendy lifestyle. Through the use of 1200 pictures and live streaming research, OMODA has gained more than 3 million interactions, 3 billion exposures, and 10,000 user exchanges in the past year, catering to dynamic, energetic, and fashionable young-minded users. At Auto Shanghai 2023, OMODA debuted its first-ever purely electric model, the OMODA 5 e-QUA, marking the brand's transition towards independence.

Furthermore, another new brand called JAECOO was also launched, which offers an urban off-road SUV designed for the urban elite with exceptional tastes. JAECOO aims to meet the travel demands of its target audience, providing a refined and high-end driving experience with an emphasis on outdoor exploration. JAECOO brought two new vehicles to the Auto Shanghai 2023 exhibition, and the first one has already generated significant public interest through social media exposure during the early stages.

The designer of JAECOO's new vehicle drew inspiration from nature, incorporating a modeling language that features stable, straight lines, devoid of unnecessary ornamentation, in keeping with the philosophy of nature. The resulting design evokes a restrained and calm sensibility akin to that of a gentleman. The matrix daytime running lights showcase the latest technology, while the front grille's waterfall-like design symbolizes the vitality of nature. The interior design exudes refinement and sophistication from every angle, with the front panel dominated by straight lines and metallic materials, accentuated with a polygonal trimming process that conveys a sense of power. This design perfectly reflects JAECOO's product positioning as a light off-road SUV. Additionally, the door panels and seats incorporate patterns inspired by traditional Chinese architecture's paper-cut window grilles, with the winter jasmine's yellow color adding vitality and energy to the JAECOO brand's relaunch, as well as the overall automobile market.

OMODA & JAECOO will follow their debut at the auto exhibition by hosting a Brand Day on April 20 at their headquarters in China's Wuhu, Anhui Province. The event will showcase new energy technologies and future development strategies, attracting over 400 dealers and media representatives from all over the world to witness the emergence of these two stylish and sophisticated brands.
