Pagani Huayra R owners get the chance to drive the supercar at Yas Marina Circuit

The Pagani Huayra R is dubbed by many as the most lethal car to come out of the Italian carmaker’s factory. Powered by an angry 6.0-liter V-12 that puts out a whopping 850 horsepower, the track-only monster has a redline of 9,000rpm.

All that raw power is put to the track via a 6-speed sequential transmission with the car sitting on 19-inch forged alloys wearing slick Pirelli P Zero tires. Stopping power comes from carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes with 6-piston calipers.

With the Huayra R being such a monster, it's very difficult for even a multi-millionaire owner to take it to a track on a random day and play with it. However, the Italian brand ensures that owners of the $2.95 million supercar get the chance to drive it at the best of the locations.

Pagani and its official distributor in the United Arab Emirates, Al Habtoor Motors, organized the firm’s Arte in Pista , also known as ‘Art on the Track’, in the UAE where owners of the Huayra R got the chance to drive it around the Yas Marina Circuit.

Arte in Pista is a new event Pagani is starting for the 30 owners of the Huayra R so that they get to drive their priceless possession in supreme company and at some very iconic locations.

Christopher Pagani, Head of Marketing for Pagani Automobili said, “We are delighted to host the final Arte In Pista event of the season at Yas Marina Circuit. The Middle East is a very important market for us and we are happy we can provide our customers the opportunity to fulfill the Huayra R’s maximum capabilities on a track made famous by some iconic races.’’

Joseph Tayar, Director, Al Habtoor Motor’s Prestige Division commented: “Through this event, we are excited for customers to come and drive their car on the track for the first time in the UAE, as well as test its capabilities in a controlled environment.  These tailor-made experiences are all part of the unique Pagani universe.”
