Picks from the Paris Motor Show 2012

The Paris Motor Show (29 Sept - 14 Oct) continues to showcase and support the developments of the automobile industry; it remains to be the world’s most important motor show.

A few car launches to look out for:

The Citroën DS3, with a stylish sliding roof back, following the Mini Cooper convertible path and Fiat 500 Cabrio having a chic and sturdy look.

 

Fiat’s third-generation All-Wheel drive is set to ride on mountain and jungle tracks, with power routed to all four wheels with electronic locking differential, managing the wheels by applying brake when slip is detected.

Comes with a Toscana green metallic and Sicilia joining the exterior look and three color seats inside.

 

 The Infiniti LE Concept sedan aims for a luxury feel with top class refinement. This all-electric car will get charged to 80% of capacity in just 30 minutes with high performance.

 

Porsche 911 Carrera 4x4 with high performance written all over it. The Carrera 4 shares a 350hp and 3.4 six-cylinder engine capable of 285kph and Carrera 4S consists of a 3.8 litre flat-engine 400hp accelerating from 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds.

 

 All New Range Rover is lighter in an aluminum monocoque structure compared to its outgoing models. With acoustically laminated glass the driver will enjoy a pleasant with minimal road and wind noise.
