The Porsche Panamera has been a questionable offering in the eyes of motoring aficionados across the globe. Its odd styling has always meant that there were a few people who loved it and others who absolutely detested it. The second-generation model, however, aims at reducing the number of people in the latter category with its voluptuous curves, and if the leaked images are anything to go by, the Panamera is finally on the right path.

While the design is definitely an evolution of its predecessor, the second-generation model borrows heavily from the striking 718 Boxster with a similar front spoiler and air intake treatment. With Porsche adopting the MSB platform for the new Panamera, we can expect both, rear and all-wheel drive layouts once the car makes its public debut at the Paris Auto Show in October. In addition to an all-new range of V6 and V8 engines, the leaked images also confirm a 4.0 liter turbocharged V8 petrol unit that is expected to churn out a mental 550 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque!

Within the thoroughly refreshed cabin, the second generation Panamera is seen to house a large central display screen and a clock atop the dashboard. The central tachometer sits behind the steering wheel flanked by a combination of digital gauges, while the rear seats appear to have a touchscreen display sat between them.
