United Arab Emirates, 6 March 2013 - Marking the successful close of ICC Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2012, Juma Al Majid Est. – the sole distributor of Hyundai in the UAE – organised a handover ceremony for three luxury Hyundai Cars to the International Cricket Council, at the Hyundai Showroom in Deira, Dubai.

This year’s cup represents the fourth ICC World T20 competition, and was the first to be held in an Asian country.

Hyundai’s sponsorship of the event represents the company’s on-going commitment to supporting spectator sporting events. Cricket continues to draw in a mass viewership, and Hyundai’s support for ICC further positions the brand in front of an international audience – a partnership that began in 2011 when the company signed on to be an official partner. This agreement also extends to the event taking place in Australia in August of this year, and further into 2015.
