Racing driver Florian Merckx drifts LaFerrari around abandoned factory

A technological marvel and an out and out beauty, the Ferrari LaFerrari is a car collector’s dream and rightfully so, with a price tag that hovers AED 18,000,000. Despite many owners’ keen to display their LaFerrari as the star attraction of their garage, not many are as courageous as Florian Merckx to drift their pride and joy at an abandoned factory and give the rest of us some jaw-dropping content to watch.

Matching its owner’s character, Merckx’s LaFerrari is unlike most in the world. Dressed in a black and white camouflage wrap, the racing driver’s Hypercar wears subtle grey decals along the bodywork, white decals on the wheels, and yellow tints across the headlights. It truly is one of a kind.

Nearly six years since the LaFerrari’s launch at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, the LaFerrari was built as a successor to the Enzo and as a hybrid rival to the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.
