Following in the footsteps of the Range Stormer that made headlines in the early 2000s, the all-new Range Rover SV Coupe breaks cover at the Geneva Motor Show. Redefining the genre and going on to become the first full-size luxury SUV coupe in the world, the limited-edition two-door Range Rover SV Coupe is a stunner in every imaginable way.

Created by Land Rover Design and Special Vehicle Operations, the SV Coupé is a true Range Rover, right from its design down to its craftsmanship and capability. Limited to 999 units, the SV Coupe will be hand-assembled to client’s personal specification by craftsman – a first for the Range Rover marque.

Gerry McGovern, Chief Design Officer, Land Rover, said: “The Range Rover SV Coupé is a celebration of the Range Rover bloodline. With a dramatic two-door silhouette, this breath-taking four seat coupé alludes to its unique heritage whilst being thoroughly modern and contemporary.”

Special Vehicle Operations bespoke personalization team offers SV Coupe clients the opportunity to indulge in their desires with over 100 exterior hues, dual-tone leather seats, a unique quilt pattern with contrast stitching, headrest embroidery, along with door handle and treadplate engraving.

Not lacking on the performance front, the SV Coupe is also the fastest-ever full-size Range Rover with a groundbreaking top speed of 265 km/h. Pushing 557 horsepower from its supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, the SV Coupe hits 100 km/h from a standstill in an extremely impressive 5.0-seconds.

More than just a straight-line rocket, the suspension is tuned to provide a more driver-focused drive that the standard Range Rover, with a ride height that is lowered by 8mm. Keeping its all-terrain ability intact, it offers 900mm of maximum wading depth and a phenomenal 3.5-tonnes of towing capacity.

Sales of the Range Rover SV Coupe are anticipated to begin from the fourth quarter of 2018. Time to get the cheque books out.
