Renault Megane GT now available in the UAE

Dedicated to driving enthusiasts, the Renault Megane GT makes its entry into the UAE to take on the likes of the Volkswagen Golf GTI and the Ford Focus ST. In a bid to be different, the French brand reveals first examples of the stunning hot hatch online to its Dubai-based customers.
Initial customers to reserve their new Renault Megane GT online (for a nominal fee of AED 500), will benefit from a complimentary upgrade to Renault’s Premium Pack. This includes Alcantara upholstery, an 8.7-inch touch infotainment screen, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Available in a choice of bold colors from Starry Black and Comet Grey to striking tones such as Iron Blue, Pearl White and Flame Red, Renault’s online customers will be the first in the region to get behind the wheel of the new Megane GT.
Commenting on the offer, Marwan Haidamous, Managing Director, Renault Middle East said: “This is the first time we are trialing a new and innovative way of retailing our cars. We live in a digital age where items are at our fingertips on our smart phones or laptops so it’s important that we look at the traditional car purchasing process and see how we can make it easier and more enjoyable.”
Tuned by Renault Sport, the Megane GT is a hot hatch that is powered by a TCE 205 engine, offering 205 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque from a turbocharged 1.6-liter unit. Mated to a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, it hits 100 km/h in 7.1-seconds and a top speed of 233 km/h.
With prices starting at AED 107,900, the Megane GT is available to reserve online until May 23rd 2018 at www.bookmycar.dubai.renault.ae.
