Revealed: Renault R.S. 01 Racer

Renault earlier teased us with its new track-focused sports car called the R.S. 01 and now it has taken the wraps off at the Moscow International Auto Show. This is a bold step from Renault and they made sure they get a good deal out of their Nissan partnership.
Main Highlights Include:
- 2,000 mm wide and 1,116 mm high
- Weighing less than 1,100 kg
- Powered by Nismo V6 3.8 liter twin-turbo engine producing more than 500 BHP and 600 NM of torque
- 7 speed DSG transmission
- Carbon brakes and special Michelin tires
- LED DRLs
This makes it a race car and Renault plans to race it in the GT, DTM, ELMS and WEC championships.
