Road Test Review: 2015 Hyundai Elantra

In a segment traditionally dominated by the Japanese with Corollas and Civics, there is very little room for competition as some of these Jap models are brands in themselves. Few say ‘I have a Toyota or a Honda’; instead they say ‘I have a Corolla or a Civic’. So how does a Korean brand like Hyundai challenge the status quo? Two words, style and price. The Corolla and Civic are reliable automobiles with a long legacy but with time they have become relatively expensive and look quite vanilla plain. So, this has opened the doors for Hyundai to step in and fill the void with their cheap but stylish alternative aka the Hyundai Elantra. And continuing on their road of budget automobiles, they have launched the 2015 variant of the Elantra at a ridiculously low price. Let’s have a closer look.
