Pushing the boundaries of bespoke luxury and personalization, Rolls Royce has unveiled the all-new Phantom at an exclusive event held in London. Offering the epitome of automotive opulence, the Phantom VIII features an Architecture of Luxury platform, which in addition to being truly unique, is lighter, stiffer, quieter, and more technologically advanced than its predecessor.

“From its debut in 1925, the Rolls-Royce Phantom has been the choice of the world’s most influential and powerful men and women, and as a result, a constant presence at history’s most defining moments. As this next chapter in the Rolls-Royce story opens, the New Phantom points the way forward for the global luxury industry,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Claimed to be ‘the most silent car in the world’, a telling sign of a true luxury offering, the Rolls Royce Phantom VIII makes use of the largest ever cast aluminum joints for better sound insulation, 6mm twin-glazing all around, and more than 130 kilograms of sound insulating materials.

Equally silent is the monstrous 6.75-liter twin turbocharged V12 engine that produces 563 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. With an unfussed surge of power, the all-new Phantom benefits from a Satellite Aided Transmission, married to a ZF 8-speed gearbox that ensures the vehicle is well prepared for whatever lay ahead.

Another benchmark, the Electronic Architecture of the new Phantom is the largest ever component produced by the BMW Group, let alone Rolls-Royce, helping to make new Phantom the most technologically advanced Rolls Royce ever.

Some of the assistance systems on-board include: a 4-camera system with Panoramic View, Night Vision and Vision Assist, Active Cruise Control, collision warning, pedestrian warning, cross-traffic warning, lane departure and lane change warning, an 7x3 high-resolution head-up display, and Wi-Fi hotspot.

With the all-new Phantom set to go on sale early next year, it’d be a good time to start saving…
