Resurrected from the archives, the Ignis is currently in its second-generation and bears a trendy yet refreshing aura. Remaining true to the IM-4 concept that it is based on, the Ignis welcomes subtle chrome adornments along the bodywork, LED Daytime Running Lights in the headlamp cluster, and flared fender arches that accentuate the tapering rear end.

Cementing its youthfulness, the cabin is dressed in a variety of hues and features unique toggle switches for the A/C controls, while a touchscreen infotainment system embellishes the dashboard. Contemporarily sporty, the instrument cluster houses a customizable digital display and a speedometer that exudes performance.

Powered by a 1.2-liter engine that it shares with the Swift hatchback, the Ignis is good for 89 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque – grunt that it delivers to the front wheels via a CVT transmission. Available in just one grade, but in a variety of colors, the GLX dons a moderately enthusiastic price tag of AED 52,900.
