SUVs are all the craze all around the world and especially in the UAE for obvious reasons. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that on a daily basis we are encountered with the question as to which car is the ‘perfect’ SUV. To be very honest, even though we don't know the exact answer, we do have a car in mind that could be a big contender for ‘perfect’ SUV tag.
Meet the Infiniti QX60 - an SUV that looks to combine sleek looks with loads of gtech and everyday usability. Obviously it is no off-roader but that’s how SUVs are these days and we like to call them ‘lifestyle’ SUVs instead of the old-gold Sports-Utility-Vehicles.
Starting with the QX60’s looks, it’s quite a good looking thing isn’t it? Sitting on the 20-inch machine-finished alloys with low-profile tires, the QX60 has a stylish stance. The large grille, sleek headlights, and wraparound glass add to the aesthetics.
In terms of everyday usability, the QX60 fairs exceptionally well with its one-touch fingertip control for the second-row captain’s chairs and loads of cargo space in the boot.
Step inside and you will be greeted by a 12.3 HD touchscreen using which you can play your favorite tunes on the 17-speaker Bose® Performance Series system. Entered the car and the phone is running low on battery? Worry not as the QX60 has got you covered on that as well with wireless charging, seven USB ports across all rows, and, wait for it, a charging outlet for laptops. We repeat, a charging outlet for LAPTOPS. Infiniti has genuinely thought about the working people here.
Under the bonnet there is a V6 engine packing 295 HP and 350 torque mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Power is fed to all four wheels with the aid of Infiniti’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive that has the ability to cleverly adapt to the conditions to offer control, performance, and economy. Three driving modes are available: Normal, Eco or Sport.
