At the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, Volkswagen debuted its CrossBlue concept, which is a three-row midsize crossover.  This is not a replacement for the Tuareg, or any other model, it will be an all-new model.

The CrossBlue is 196.3 inches long, 79.3 inches wide and 62.2 inches tall. It is fitted with 21 inch alloy wheels.

From the inside, it has a 10.2 inch touch screen for the infotainment system, it also displays hybrid information.  Volkswagen said that there is also a new 3D feature, for example, you can rotate a landscape in the navigation function.

VW engineered the CrossBlue to be a plug-in diesel hybrid, mating 2 electric motors. The diesel engine alone has 188 horsepower, but combined with the 2 e-motors a total is estimated to be around 302 horsepower and 701 Nm of torque, and a six speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
