Top 3 Most Loved Cars at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show

The 2017 Dubai Motor Show features some of the most desirable and pulse-quickening cars that one can think of. Among the multitude of such sight-grasping and drool-worthy set of wheels, here are our picks of the crème of the crop – the Top 3 Most Loved Cars at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show.

Brabus 900 One of Ten

The German car tuning legend – Brabus, is famous for its insanely powerful, ridiculously fast, and eye-wateringly expensive vehicles. A testament to this fact is one of their latest offerings, and it is called the Brabus 900 One of Ten, and it is the world’s most powerful twelve-cylinder SUV.

The Brabus 900 One of Ten is based on the (already) powerful G65 AMG, which basically means that the Brabus 900 is truly bonkers. Under the bulging hood is a larger 6.3-liter Bi-Turbo V12 that now chucks out a massive 888 HP and a colossal 1,500 Nm of torque! However, to extend the longevity of the internals, the torque has been electronically-limited to 1,200 Nm. To keep the heat at bay, there’s also heat-reflective gold sheathing under the hood.

Mashing the right foot will hurl this big burly beast to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Keep the throttle pinned and the Brabus 900 will be hurtling down the road at an indicated 270 km/h. To help bring all this mass to a safe halt, Brabus has fitted this beast with the largest set of brakes ever fitted to an SUV. As expected, the interior is filled with some of the best materials known to man, plus there’s enough tech to keep all four occupants happy.

2018 Ferrari Portofino

The all-new for 2018 Ferrari Portofino is the latest Prancing Horse from the stables of this Italian marquee. The exterior styling is absolutely breathtaking and it is almost impossible to find a wrong line on the Portofino. Whilst the exterior is there to soothe your brow, the sly grin is there to remind you that this is very much a Ferrari.

Under the beautifully crafted aerodynamic hood is a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 that sends 591 rampaging Italian horses and 760 Nm of torque to the rear wheels. Keep the steering wheel straight and floor the throttle, and the Ferrari Portofino will rocket to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, and soon enough, you will be screaming along at 320 km/h.

Being a Ferrari, the cabin is just as exquisite as the exterior. There’s fine Italian leather and high-end switchgear dotted throughout the cabin. However, the best part is the part that folds away, i.e. the folding metal roof. The whole procedure of the roof going into the trunk and coming back out is an art on its own.

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

Touted as the “most powerful SUV ever”, the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk could likely be one of the most insane SUVs on sale, and quite easily makes the cut to be on our list. Under the hood of this otherwise unassuming looking behemoth is a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces an incredible 707 HP and 875 Nm of twisting force.

Even though the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk tips the scales at a beefy 2.4 tons, the sheer grunt on offer means that 100 km/h will go past in just over 3.6 seconds, and top speed is just shy of 290 km/h.

However, the cabin of the Trackhawk wouldn’t necessarily blow your mind. It is almost identical to that of the regular, top-trim Grand Cherokee. The materials aren’t as top-tier as the ones that you will find in the Brabus or the Ferrari. That said, this Jeep has loads of character and an exhaust note that could possibly wake up the dead.
