Toyota Gazoo Racing UAE partners with Motor Hub Autocross Championship to support Motorsport in the UAE

The Motor Hub Autocross Championship, sponsored ‘by the newly founded Al-Futtaim racing Division via its subsidiary, Toyota Gazoo Racing UAE, is an exciting development for the UAE racing scene.

The championship will span over five rounds, taking place across various locations in the UAE until April 2024. The first round of the Motor Hub Autocross Championship took place on October 14th at the Yas Marina Circuit's Vehicle Dynamics Area (VDA).

The Autocross Championship is a form of grassroots motorsport competition. The events are usually held in spacious paved or tarmacked areas, such as designated parking lots with strategically placed cones, giving them an urban atmosphere. Autocross has become extremely popular among amateur drivers and car enthusiasts because it is relatively affordable and accessible, allowing them to enjoy the excitement of motorsports.

The winners of last weekend’s event were Saher Fataftah (All-wheel drive winner), Ramzi Atat  (Rear-wheel drive winner), and Rudy Khoubbieh (Front-wheel drive winner).
