Al Futtaim Toyota, the official importer/dealer for Toyota vehicles in the UAE, has launched its newest subcompact crossover, the C-HR. Combing a daring design with a coupe-like silhouette and eco-friendly technologies, the C-HR competes against the likes of the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, and Nissan Kicks. Standing out as the only hybrid in its class, the C-HR offers the lowest fuel consumption value in its category at 23.9km/L, all while offering an exceptionally quiet cabin and smooth power delivery thanks to the hybrid powertrain.

Saud Abbasi, Managing Director at Al-Futtaim Toyota said, “When it was first shown to the public as a concept car, the C-HR wowed onlookers with its avant-garde physique. Toyota designers translated the concept’s form to a production-ready vehicle while maintaining all the glamour of the show car. We are confident this car will wow our customers here in the UAE with its innovation, style, and technology.

The all-new C-HR is built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which guarantees a more rewarding driving experience. A low center of gravity and double-wishbone rear suspension contribute to outstanding stability and handling with exceptional comfort. The vehicle comes with a 1.8-liter VVT-i full-hybrid powertrain and automatic CVT transmission, meeting all the requirements of daily commutes and weekend leisure journeys while offering peace of mind through its comprehensive array of safety features.

The all-new C-HR’s airy and high-quality interior is designed to delight the most discerning of customers. The sleek control panel is home to a 4.2-inch color LCD Multi-Information Display and a 7” Display Audio with an onboard multimedia system and full smartphone integration through both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The all-new C-HR HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) comes with all the benefits expected of the world’s most proven and advanced hybrid-electric technology, yet drives like any other conventional car, offering remarkable fuel efficiency at 23.9 km/L with zero compromise on performance delivering a combined 121hp.

A choice of 10 exciting exterior colors add to the all-new C-HR’s striking visual appeal, including Super White, White Pearl, Celestite Gray Metallic, Gray Metallic, Metal Stream Metallic, Black, Emotion Red, Orange Metallic, Oxide Bronze Metallic, and Nebula Blue Metallic. Further personalization is made possible with the addition of two bi-tone variants; where you can combine Gloss Black and the iconic Metal Stream with select colors. The vehicle’s eye-catching exterior is accentuated by sporty 17-inch alloy wheels.
