Toyota partnered up with Jean-Marie Massaud, the French designer, creating the 2013 Toyota Me.We Concept. It was unveiled at Le Rendez-vous Toyota in Paris. It is a trial to make a car that can be loved by owners with different personalities and lifestyles, at the same time being attentive to the environmental needs.

The concept is customizable and the body panels are removable, although it just looks like a normal hatchback, Toyota says it can also be used as a pickup, where the rear panel can be extended, or a convertible with a neoprene roof panel or even an off-roader! The car is fully electrical with individual in-wheel motors and has a battery pack. The weight of the concept is about 1,600 pounds and also features renewable bamboo wood for the floor and a recyclable polypropylene exterior body panels.
