Uber launches UberFamily at extra cost in Dubai

With an increased demand for child-friendly travel in the UAE, ride-hailing company Uber introduces UberFamily as a new option for users in Dubai. For a nominal fee of AED 10, users can now book a ride with the option of a child car seat, giving parents added safety and convenience on their trips, something that has already been done by Careem with Careem Kids. 

“As transport needs in the region evolve, we are continuing to introduce products that meet local demands and broadening access to riders who are looking for greater flexibility and ease of access. We are constantly adapting our technology to design solutions that improve mobility while keeping safety and reliability top of mind,” said Rifad Mahasneh, General Manager of Uber in the GCC and Levant.

Open Uber app Enter drop-off destination Expand product list by swiping up Request ‘Family’ Receive pick-up with child car seat fitted
