How important is a pit stop in an F1 battle? It can mean difference between winning and losing. Pit stop tyre changes these days are FAST, literally within a few seconds. In April this year, Red Bull claimed a pit stop tyre change time of 2.05 seconds, a phenomenal feat considering all four tyres have to be changed. Pit stop teams practise zealously for these routines and all eyes now are on breaking the sacred 2 second barrier.
