Volkswagen CC gets engine upgrade in Middle East

Volkswagen Middle East has announced an engine upgrade for 2014 Volkswagen CC in the Gulf region, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman. The new Volkswagen CC engine will offer 210 HP for all trim levels (except the more powerful R-Line) which is a 50 HP increase from the previous CC engine. This means Volkswagen CC S, SE, SEL and Sport will have the same power capacity of 210 horsepower. The R-Line will continue to offer the higher range 3.6 liter engine. Surprisingly the price of this 4 door German coupe will remain the same despite the engine upgrade. This will likely increase it's price level appeal among car buyers.
