Volkswagen Introduces Refreshed Tiguan To The Middle East

Volkswagen’s global best-seller, the Tiguan, has received a facelift for 2021 and is set to make its Middle East debut in July. The refreshed model wears a starting price of AED 90,300 including VAT in the UAE and features new technology, a sharp exterior, and plenty of comfort and safety features too.

The exterior includes a completely renewed front grille, full LED headlights, and a new Volkswagen logo. The eye-catching bumpers have also undergone a makeover, looking more rugged and complementing the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. Known for its iconic style, the Tiguan now comes in ten colors and four trims for the Middle East region – Trendline (1.4L), Life (1.4L or 2.0L), Elegance (2.0L), and R-Line (2.0L). In addition, the premium R-Line trim features an optional black style package that includes, 19” Valencia black alloy wheels, black mirror housing, black decorative inserts, and black exterior styling elements.

The new interior features a modern design with a multi-function touch steering wheel, an 8” touchscreen infotainment system, and an optional 9.2” with Discover Pro Navigation. It also features wired and wireless App-Connect smartphone integration for compatible devices, enabling the driver to use smartphone apps directly on the vehicle display. Multiple phones can be paired and switched to the system with enhanced voice recognition. The premium Harman/Kardon sound system has 8 speakers meticulously engineered to entertain while driving.
