What you should and shouldn't do this UAE National Day!

It is that time of the year again when the whole country stands together to salute the achievements and solidarity. It also is the time for car enthusiasts to show off their decorated machines signifying their love for the nation.

In doing so, sometimes, this leads to breaking rules and thus the Government has advised the following DOs and DON'Ts this National Day to the public.

DO’s

- Write or stick phrases that do not insult anyone

- Fix the national flag anywhere on the car as long as it doesn’t pose a risk to anyone including the driver

- Stickers on the side of the car

- Vehicle body decoration

DON’Ts:

- Windshield tinting

- Changing vehicle color

- Exceeding passenger limit of the car

- Hanging body parts (hands, heads, legs) out of the car window

- Covering the number plate with decorations

- Standing on moving car

- Driving dangerously

- Blocking roads

- Engine/Exhaust modifications
