Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, an automotive charitable event and one of the most prestigious events of its kind, is where some of the wealthiest car enthusiasts come together and where Mercedes-Maybach is scheduled to unveil its all-new Coupe concept.

Spotted on the brand’s Facebook page, is a teaser of the upcoming model, which measures in at a jaw-dropping 19.6 feet long. Exuding presence, the silhouette is more akin to vehicles of the 1930s than anything in recent times. A long hood that drapes into the bodywork, complements the tapered rear which flaunts a massive overhang.

Three feet longer than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and four feet longer than the Bentley Continental GT, what’s evident is that the Maybach Coupe isn’t a dressed up S-Class. Built to rival the likes of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé – a car that monopolizes its segment -  the Maybach Coupe could well be a modern day replacement of the striking Maybach Exelero.

With Maybach badging embellishing the haunches and a Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star on the hood, the Coupe is the model we’re most looking forward to. Thankfully, the wait isn’t too long with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance taking place next week.
