Aston Martin's Commitment
The testing of the DBX prototype reflects the company's commitment to an intensive testing program that encompasses diverse environments and conditions. While driving simulations play a pivotal role in the early development stage of the DBX, the series of driving and speed tests in Wales genuinely marks the start of a comprehensive testing phase in the 'real world.'
The new SUV will undergo a complex and rigorous testing regime, ultimately contributing to the creation of unique models capable of tackling the most challenging environments worldwide, from the Arctic to the deserts of the Middle East and the rugged roads of the Alps.
Moreover, it will meet the demands of high speed and exceptional performance on Germany's major highways and the renowned 'Nürburgring Nordschleife' racetrack.
Engineers' Insights
Commenting on his drive of the DBX prototype, Matt Becker stated, "We have effectively developed and fine-tuned the DBX model with driving simulation experiences, which has allowed us to make excellent progress in developing the prototype of our first SUV."
He added, "The DBX represents a completely different class of Aston Martin vehicles, and we will test it in all conditions and across various terrains and tracks to ensure an exceptional driving experience that reflects the distinctiveness and sophistication of the Aston Martin brand."
