Introduction
Today, Aston Martin, the renowned British luxury car manufacturer, has unveiled its stunning limited edition 'V12 Speedster' for the first time globally, limited to just 88 units.
Car Design and Performance
Customization and Design
The 'Q by Aston Martin' personalization service has added its exceptional touches to the 'V12 Speedster', focusing on the driver's requirements and drawing inspiration from the brand’s rich history in racing and aircraft design. Today's model shines with a conceptual 'F/A-18' character, crafted by the brand's skilled team of designers and engineers.
Structural Framework
Built on the latest practical aluminum structure, the 'V12 Speedster' incorporates elements from the 'DBS Superleggera' and 'Vantage' to create its unique platform.
- Independent double wishbone suspension
- Multi-link rear suspension system
- Coil springs with adaptive damping
- Driving modes: "Sport," "+Sport," "Track"
The 'V12 Speedster' features custom-designed 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Standard equipment includes 410mm carbon-ceramic brakes at the front and 360mm at the rear.
Interior Cabin
The specifications of the interior cabin reach new dimensions through a blend of traditional and modern materials, where carbon fiber contrasts with meticulously crafted practical leather, along with chrome, aluminum, and 3D printed rubber.
Visually and physically, the interior design reduces mass for a sleeker and more efficient character. Instead of a traditional glove box, a luxurious removable leather pouch is placed in front of the passenger, providing additional storage space under the rear bumpers.
Engine Power and Performance
At the heart of the 'V12 Speedster' lies a powerful 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine delivering 700 horsepower and 753 Newton-meters of torque.
- Acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds
- Top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h)
The engine is positioned mid-front in the vehicle and is crafted from a special metal alloy with four camshafts and 48 valves, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential for the rear wheels.
