Audi A7 Sportback

Every time I drive an Audi, I am convinced that each model has something unique to offer. The Audi A7 Sportback 3.0L Quattro not only outperforms its competitors but does so with a smile.

Performance

When comparing it with the BMW 530i and Mercedes CLS350, the Audi A7 is the only one that exceeds 400 Nm of torque. In other words, just press the pedal, and it does its job wonderfully.

It is also the only one among them that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds. Even in the most challenging corners, its grip remains strong. The performance and handling of the A7 meet our expectations, and as Audi has accustomed us, it is distinctly a coupe and the best in its class.

While driving at high speeds, road, wind, and engine noise are barely noticeable. However, press down harder, and you will hear its beautiful sound.

Are there any downsides? Yes, it consumes more fuel than its competitors, specifically 8.2 L/100 km, making it the only one among its rivals exceeding 8 liters.

Interior

Audi A7 Interior

The A7 features a four-door coupe design, which is highly sought after in the market today. When it comes to aesthetics versus practicality, headroom may not be ideal for taller individuals, but this is a small price to pay for what the car offers.

There's no drastic difference between it and the other Audi interiors, but there’s no need for change when Audi cars are known for their high-quality designs. The interior reminds me more of an airplane cockpit than a car cabin, enhanced by the oak veneer, sporty leather seats, and automatic memory for the driver's seat.

There are numerous features to mention, including automatic climate control for four zones, heat-insulating windows, rear window sunshades, a DVD changer, and a multifunction interface (MMI). The touch interface allows you to write letters for your destination or phone number using your fingers.

The trunk has a capacity of 535 liters for cargo, which can be expanded to 1,390 liters when you fold the rear seats.

However, I must draw your attention to a note that the trunk is designed lengthwise, making it challenging to fit a twin stroller, for example, unless the seats are folded down. Therefore, what's the advantage? A Toyota Camry offers a more practical trunk space than the A7. Yes, the A7 has a large trunk, but its lengthwise design makes it less practical.

Conclusion

In terms of performance, it is fantastic; however, in terms of practicality, that depends on your needs. If you have a family, you may want to reconsider based on the interior space.
