Launch History of the Flying Spur
Since its launch in October 2019, the new Flying Spur has seen high demand among customers in the region. This model marks a new chapter in the history of Bentley’s high-performance luxury four-door cars in the Middle East, building on the success of previous generation models. Notably, over 40,000 Flying Spur vehicles have been produced in the last 15 years.
V8 Engine Performance
The Flying Spur V8, now offered as an alternative to the iconic W12 engine model, provides a more driver-focused experience with enhanced agility. The V8 engine features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter configuration, generating a peak power of 542 horsepower, while delivering an impressive torque of 770 Newton-meters at under 2000 RPM.
Fuel Efficiency
To enhance fuel efficiency, the V8 engine can deactivate four of its eight cylinders under low-load conditions. This deactivation process occurs in approximately 20 milliseconds, which is about one-tenth the time it takes for a blink of an eye.
Design and Comfort Features
The Flying Spur V8 is 100 kilograms lighter than the W12 variant, offering a greater sense of agility. Standard features include:
