BMW 5-Series: The Sixth Generation of Luxury Midsize Cars
The BMW 5-Series is a German luxury midsize car that began production in 1972. It has consistently ranked as the second best-selling model after the 3-Series. In its sixth generation, the company has publicly tested its latest version, revealing some new features through recently captured images.
Design and Innovation
With the company testing two models of the 5-Series, the new car is expected to be lighter due to its incorporation of aluminum and carbon fiber in its structure. However, it won't differ significantly from its predecessor, particularly in the shape of the headlights.
New BMW 5-Series Engines
As for the engine options, the new model is expected to feature the latest generation of Turbocharger engines. It is rumored to be equipped with either a 4-cylinder Turbocharger engine (B48) or a V6 Turbocharger engine (B58). Additionally, there are speculations about a 4.4-liter V8 engine that could produce more than 600 horsepower.
Expected Reveal of the Car
Despite these late tests, the official reveal is anticipated before the end of this year, possibly at the Paris Motor Show in September.
