The Changan UNI-S has officially arrived in Saudi Arabia, with a starting price of SAR 93,725 including VAT. Almajdouie Motors Company, the authorized dealer for Changan in the Kingdom, has introduced this latest addition to the UNI series, aimed at expanding the brand’s presence in the competitive mid-sized MPV segment.

Expanding the UNI Series

The UNI-S joins its predecessors—UNI-K, UNI-T, and UNI-V—in Changan’s UNI series, which has steadily gained popularity in the Saudi market. Positioned as a versatile mid-sized MPV, the UNI-S enters a category that has seen sustained demand over the years. However, it faces tough competition, requiring more than just a fresh face to stand out.

Performance and Efficiency

Under the hood, the UNI-S is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, delivering 185 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission, it achieves a respectable fuel efficiency of 16.6 km/l. While these figures are adequate, they are in line with other vehicles in its class.

Modern Exterior and Luxurious Interior

The UNI-S stands out with its wide, distinctive front grille, a signature design element of the UNI series. The wide front grille and sleek lines provide a modern appearance, but the overall design doesn’t stray far from the formula already established by its UNI siblings.
