Jaguar Land Rover MENA Launches Mobile Apps for Enhanced Customer Experience

Dubai, UAE – 2 September, 2012 – Jaguar Land Rover MENA announced the launch of specially created regional mobile apps to further enhance its personalised customer experience. The introduction of the free apps is a regional first for the British manufacturer, and comes after considerable investment into the research and development of mobile technology and customer trends in the Middle East.

Available Platforms

The Jaguar Land Rover mobile apps will be available as a free download from:

iTunes for iPhone/iPad users
BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry users

The apps are designed for both existing and potential customers and are available in three languages: English, Arabic, and French. The default language is determined by the language of the device.

SOS - Immediate emergency connection to the Total Care center.
Smart Service Request - Easily book a service appointment.
Latest News and Promotions - Stay updated with news and promotions from across the region.
Social Media Connectivity - Interact with brand news and dealer activity.

Booking a Test Drive and Emergency Services

The mobile app allows customers to book a test drive using GPS technology which automatically sends the request directly to the dealer closest to the customer. GPS is also utilized to identify and provide contact details for the nearest showrooms and service center facilities. In case of an emergency, MENA Total Care Roadside Assistance provides iPhone and BlackBerry users an immediate SOS emergency connection to the Total Care center in their exact location.

Smart Service Request

The Smart Service Request facility simplifies the process of booking a service appointment. The app provides a pre-defined request form to a preferred service location, allowing customers to select:

Preferred date and time

As part of the Directory Listing, owner and car details will be aligned with device settings, allowing customers to select which car to send for service if they have more than one vehicle registered. Jaguar Land Rover customer opinions matter, and they can provide valuable feedback about their specific sales and service experience by answering a selection of easy-to-answer multiple-choice questions within the Survey option of the mobile apps.
