Driving Experience of the Nissan 370Z

Finally, the moment has arrived to experience the Nissan 370Z, and I couldn’t wait any longer! Our test car was painted in a striking red, guaranteed to turn heads. Once you get behind the wheel, you'll notice everyone looking your way. Our model came with a sporty package, which includes features like European sport dampers, traction control, and stunning 19-inch wheels wrapped in fantastic Bridgestone Potenza tires.

Opening the car door, the first thought that crosses your mind is, "Wow, what luxury!" I was thrilled to see that Nissan did not skimp on technology. While some car manufacturers argue that reducing technology is acceptable for a sports car, Nissan took a different approach. The 370Z features a navigation system, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, an impressive sound system, a push-start button, and heated seats—everything you can think of is included!

The electric seats are upholstered in leather with lumbar support. The center console has a classic design and includes an easy-to-use entertainment system similar to what you’d find in the Pathfinder and Maxima. Above the console, there are three gauges that display the engine temperature, battery level, and time. Additionally, the 370Z is equipped with a powerful Bose sound system featuring eight speakers and two subwoofers. Yes, you read that right!

However, there were some drawbacks to the 370Z. Firstly, visibility was not great. You have to check the side mirrors at least three times, lean your body before changing lanes, and you’ll still be wary of blind spots! It would have been better if there was a blind spot alert. Secondly, the trunk space is quite laughable; it's extremely limited!

Performance

Performance of Nissan 370Z

The 370Z is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that delivers 332 horsepower and 374 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The braking system is robust, featuring four-piston 14-inch Nissan Sport discs in the front and two-piston 13.8-inch Nissan Sport discs in the rear.

The seven-speed automatic transmission is exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced. A red light illuminates the RPM gauge to indicate the optimal time to shift gears. Thanks to the SynchroRev Match system in the 370Z, the RPM is always in the right position for a smooth gear change.

As expected from a sports car, stability and control are impressive, even at high speeds. Some may find the steering a bit stiff, but you'll quickly get used to it. The exhaust note is fantastic and truly enjoyable.

However, be warned: with a powerful 3.7-liter engine, this car has an insatiable thirst for fuel! I barely managed to drive 400 kilometers on a full tank. Yet, when you think about it, the joy this car brings makes that price seem trivial!

Conclusion

Simply put, I think I've fallen for another car! It certainly has its downsides, and I might need to consider investing in a gas station, but honestly, if I had 149,000 AED, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the 370Z!
