Introduction to the Ford EcoBoost Engine
Ford has introduced a new V6 3.5 engine for the Riley Technologies Daytona prototype, which will be driven by Michael Shank Racing. The EcoBoost engine has been developed by Doug Yates Racing Engines, and it is reported to be significantly improved over its predecessors.

"This engine is the future," said Doug Yates, CEO of Doug Yates Racing Engines, in a statement. "This EcoBoost engine from Ford incorporates all the latest technologies—direct injection, turbocharging, and high efficiency. We are looking to take it to the next level through this motorsport program."
