Ford GT: The Remarkable Dynamic Supercar
Introduction
The Ford GT is one of the most distinguished supercars, known for its stunning aerodynamic design and exceptional power. Two years ago, when Ford first unveiled this model, the company stated that it would boast one of the best power-to-weight ratios in the market.
Vehicle Performance
During a new experience at the Calabogie Motorsports Park in Ontario, Canada, the Ford GT showcased impressive new figures, outperforming some of the largest supercar manufacturers.
Ford GT Engine
The vehicle features a second-generation engine of the Ford GT. While the first-generation GT was equipped with an 8-cylinder engine, the new engine represents the second generation, featuring a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 that produces 647 horsepower, achieving a top speed of 348 km/h.
Ford GT Superiority
The Ford GT surpassed both the McLaren 675LT and the Ferrari 458 Speciale by a margin of 1 second and 3 seconds, respectively. It completed the Calabogie circuit in a time of 2:09.8, beating the McLaren's time of 2:10.8 and the Ferrari's time of 2:12.9.
With its remarkable aerodynamic design and a power-to-weight ratio of 4.5, the Ford GT glides smoothly on the track and through corners. There’s no doubt that Ford has perfected the manufacturing of this vehicle, as it represents the second generation of one of the American company's most famous supercars.
