The standout 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine is the heart of the Ford Mustang Dark Horse, specially modified with connecting rods that were first introduced in the Ford Mustang Performance model, the Shelby GT500, boasting 760 horsepower. The Dark Horse promises to deliver the highest level of performance in the all-new Mustang lineup.
Special Features
The Dark Horse distinguishes itself from previous Mustangs equipped with the 5.0-liter V8 engine by featuring a dual fuel injection throttle for improved engine breathing, highlighted by the openings on either side of the front grille.
Transmission Options
The standard version of the Mustang Dark Horse comes with a unique six-speed manual transmission from Tremec.
