Free Parking in Dubai and Abu Dhabi During Eid al-Adha
General Information
Drivers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will enjoy free parking for six days from August 19, 2018, to August 24, 2018. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority and the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport have announced that all public parking will be free during Eid al-Adha, except for multi-storey parking garages.
Regular parking fees will resume from August 25 onwards. Drivers are reminded to avoid parking in prohibited areas or obstructing traffic in the city during the holiday.
Public Transport Services
Public transport services will operate on extended hours to accommodate the increased number of users relying on these services during peak times.
Metro Operating Hours

Red Line - Dubai Metro:
- From 5 AM to 2 AM from August 20 to August 23, and on August 25.
- From 10 AM to 2 AM on August 24.

Green Line - Dubai Metro:
- From 5:30 AM to 2 AM on August 20, 21, 22, 23, and 25.
- From 10 AM to 2 AM on August 24.
