Introduction
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced free parking across the emirate during the Eid al-Fitr holiday. The authority also revealed the final timings for public transport services. All paid parking areas will be free of charge, except for multi-storey parking lots, from Sunday, June 2, to Friday, June 7, with regular parking fees resuming on Saturday, June 8.
Final Timings for Public Transport and Services
Red Line (Dubai Metro)
- From June 3 to June 6: Operating hours are from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM the following day.
- June 7: Operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM the following day.
- June 8: Operating hours are from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM the following day.
Green Line (Dubai Metro)
- From June 3 to June 6: Operating hours are from 5:30 AM to 2:00 AM the following day.
- June 7: Operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM the following day.
- June 8: Operating hours are from 5:30 AM to 2:00 AM the following day.
Dubai Tram
- From June 1 to June 6: Operating hours are from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM the following day.
- June 7: Operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM the following day.
Service Centers
Customer Happiness Centers will be closed from June 2 to June 8 and will resume operations on Sunday, June 9. Meanwhile, all service provider centers (technical inspections), such as Shamil centers, will be closed from June 2 to June 7 and will reopen on Saturday, June 8.
