Fujairah Police Traffic Fine Discounts Celebrating Year of Zayed
Details of the Discounts
Starting from July and continuing through September, Fujairah Police is offering discounts of up to 50% on traffic fines for vehicles impounded in the emirate. A senior official from Fujairah Police announced that drivers can take advantage of substantial reductions on fines in celebration of the Year of Zayed.
Official Statements
Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, the Chief of Fujairah Police, stated: "The decision was made in favor of citizens and residents in honor of the Year of Zayed, with the goal of raising awareness and educating drivers about traffic violations. The discount period has been set from July 1 to September 30, 2018."
Invitation to Take Advantage of the Discounts
Brigadier Ali Rashid bin Awad Al Yamani encourages drivers to utilize this discount period to clear all accumulated traffic violations that led to their vehicles being confiscated. Among the traffic violations that resulted in vehicle impoundment are:
- Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Exceeding the speed limit by 60 km/h.
- Driving without license plates.
