The Classic Defender Works V8 Islay Edition pays tribute to two significant elements: the remarkable Spencer Wilks, Managing Director of the Rover Car Company and a founding figure of Land Rover, and the Isle of Islay, Scotland, where the Land Rover name originated.

Under the bonnet, the Classic Defender Works V8 Islay Edition features a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine, producing:

• 515 Nm of torque

The engine pairs with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, enabling the classy SUV to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds. The top speed is capped at 106 mph, a benchmark that owners may rarely approach.

Reengineering and Comfort

This generation of Land Rover Defenders is no longer in production. Therefore, the British firm will be reengineering donor cars, which will include:
