Support and Collaboration Measures
General Motors has announced a series of precautionary measures in collaboration with Al Kandi Automotive, the official dealer for Cadillac in the UAE, and the official dealer for Chevrolet and GMC in Dubai and Sharjah, as well as Bin Hamooda Automotive, the official dealer for Chevrolet and GMC in Abu Dhabi. This initiative aims to postpone any non-essential customer trips to service centers, thereby better serving the UAE community during these challenging times.
Warranty Extension
In line with government directives to stay home for health and safety, General Motors has partnered with Al Kandi and Bin Hamooda to alleviate pressure on customers by:
- Extending the warranty period for all Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles.
- Any customer whose vehicle warranty expires between March 1 and May 31 will receive a two-month warranty extension.
Prioritizing safety, General Motors encourages customers to self-isolate and defer any non-essential service requirements at this time.
Roadside Assistance Service
To ensure customers are not stranded during essential travel, General Motors, along with its dealers Al Kandi and Bin Hamooda, will:
- Provide 24/7 roadside assistance to enhance safety on the road.
- Extend roadside assistance for three months from April 1 to June 30, 2020, regardless of the vehicle's warranty period.
General Motors and its dealers are committed to providing immediate assistance to customers, regardless of the issue, including towing the vehicle to the customer's residence if service centers are closed.
