Launched on the 4th of September 2024 in the UAE, the Nissan Patrol 2025 is an important car for the legacy brand. While its closest battle is fought with the equally heavyweight Toyota Land Cruiser, the all-new Patrol is bound to win countless hearts. The Nissan Patrol 2025 costs between AED 239,900 and AED 379,900 in the UAE.
New and bolder exterior
Where the old model had a few restrained curves here & there, the all-new Patrol Y63 has done away with those as well. The slab-sided appearance of the Nissan Patrol 2025 is hard to miss. The sheer height of the hood results in an intimidating stance, as the large vertically-arranged headlights stare back unabashedly.

The V-Motion front grille is much wider than before and does away with the thick chrome trim. These have been supplanted by sleeker bars spanning the width of the grille. The headlamps get dual LED DRLs, which add to the personality of the new Patrol. The curious design of the front bumper makes it look like it has a flat grin with a tinge of menace behind it.
Seeing this Patrol becoming a larger silhouette in your rearview mirror would be pretty unnerving, I reckon. The 22-inch rims fit neatly into their respective wheel wells, with their arches showcasing restrained but sophisticated muscularity. The dual-tone color scheme and flat roof are now accompanied by a floating visual effect.

There is also a ‘Patrol’ branding on the D-pillar, in case you forgot what you are driving. The squared-off rear of the new Patrol gets a small spoiler and a butch-looking bumper. Then there’s the full-width LED bar and distinctive LED taillights.
Comfortable interior
Quality craftsmanship and materials are two things that make this cabin incredibly comfortable. The quilted leather seats, employing Nissan’s ‘Zero Gravity’ design, further improve the experience. Plush touchpoints amalgamated with tons of room mean that you will not feel hemmed in inside the 2025 Patrol. The large windows (with acoustic damping) and a panoramic sunroof only add to the sense of space.

Uncompromising practicality
The 2025 Nissan Patrol makes for a great family hauler owing to its abundance of storage options. For starters, there are large front & rear door bins capable of handling 1-liter bottles. The massive front-center console houses a covered cubby and a hinged cubby under the armrest – these have a combined 9 liters of storage.

The gigantic center armrest also incorporates a cool box – very useful during hot days. The all-new Patrol comes with power-operated rear seats to increase the cargo space. When combined with the squared shape of the loading area, this makes the Patrol capable of hauling large loads sans many challenges.
The all-new Patrol can seat up to 8 people, increasing its versatility across a wide spectrum of usage scenarios. Even third-row occupants get handy storage options and AC vents, while other stowage means include netting and portable shelves. Furthermore, the Patrol gets an onboard air compressor – in case you want to inflate or deflate the tires with accuracy.
MyNissan App and NissanConnect Services
The 2025 Nissan Patrol comes with the MyNissan smartphone app featuring multiple user profiles based on user requirements. The application allows users to control various functions of their car via NissanConnect Services. These functions include ‘My Car Finder’, destination sharing & planning, curfew & zone alerts, plus vehicle health status & malfunction notifications.
Advanced safety tech

The all-new Patrol is available with the ProPilot suite. This ropes in adaptive cruise control, predictive forward-collision warning, auto-emergency braking with pedestrian detection, automatic rear-emergency braking, and lane-departure mitigation. Boosting safety further are multiple cameras all around with different viewing settings and 7 airbags.
Useful off-road essentials
The all-new Nissan Patrol gets four-wheel drive, low-range gearing, a rear-locking differential, and switchable terrain modes as standard. The latter comes in the form of Mud, Rock, and Sand modes. Then there is the all-new ‘Invisible Hood View’ feature, which comprises a front-facing camera and intelligent computing.

The end result is shown on the infotainment screen as a virtual representation of the path in front of the Patrol. The screen also depicts the front wheels and the steering angle for a better understanding of the path ahead, especially on rough terrain. The off-road bumpers with integrated tow hooks and the well-tuned independent all-around suspension help, too.
New and improved powertrain
The Nissan Patrol 2025 is powered by either a new 3.8-liter naturally-aspirated V6 or a new 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6. The former puts out 316 hp and 386 Nm, while the punchier twin-turbo six-cylinder makes 425 hp and 700 Nm. Nissan has equipped the Patrol with an all-new 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Not only has the power figures gone up, the new Patrol is also more economical than its predecessor. The base V6 is rated at 9.7 km/L or 10.3 L/100 km, while the twin-turbo motor manages 10.1 km/L or 9.9 L/100 km.
Advanced new suspension
Tagging along with the improved powertrain is the Nissan Patrol’s new suspension. Higher trim levels are now available with adaptive air suspension and computer-controlled shock absorbers. This new system should make the ride and handling even better – both on and off the road.
Updated features
The all-new Nissan Patrol gets a 12-speaker Klipsch sound system, 64-color LED mood lighting, climate-controlled & massaging seats, wireless charging, a motion-activated tailgate, exterior puddle lamps, rear-seat entertainment with 12.8-inch screens, a head-up display, multi-zone climate control with ‘biometric cooling’, and 28.6-inch ‘Monolith Display’ screens at the front.

Newer than its closest rival
While technically not a feature of the car itself, this will be a factor considered by many buyers. The 2025 Nissan Patrol Y63 is the latest iteration of the Patrol, but more importantly, it is newer than the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300. And with its new features and updated mechanicals, the Nissan Patrol is better than ever!
